AMMAN. A group of students from the Department of Agricultural Sciences and Plant Protection at Shubak University College visited the premises of the National Agricultural Research Center (NARC) to have an overlook on the research profile of NARC. A film on the center and its activities was previewed before them, and they paid a tour visit to the departments and laboratories of the center.
Dr. Nizar Haddad, the Director General of NARC, expressed his enthusiasm on the visit because of its great role in introducing the students to NARC as one of the national research institutions devoted to conduct agricultural scientific research, pointing out the active role played by NARC in networking and cooperation with academic institutions for the transfer of modern sciences and the utilization of scientific research outputs to serve the agricultural sector and achieve agricultural development.
Dr. Ezzeddin Al Ramamneh, Professor of Botany and Horticulture at the College, expressed his admiration on the scientific and professional capabilities NARC has. He also conveyed his thanks to Dr. Haddad and the staff of NARC who provided useful and comprehensive information and expertise to the students, describing the center as a home of Jordanian expertise in the field of scientific research.
