The Director General of NARC, Dr. Nizar Haddad, welcomed Dr. Hu Guoqiang, the Deputy Director of the Chinese Biogas Institute of Ministry of Agriculture with the accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, Haddad discussed ways of cooperation between the two sides in the field of scientific research and future cooperation through the conversion of agricultural production wastes into biogas as one of the applications of circular economy, which focuses on the optimal utilization of all production inputs in the optimal ways, converting challenges into opportunities that positively affect investment returns in the agricultural sector.

Haddad also appreciated the efforts exerted by the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in strengthening relations and research cooperation between the two countries in addition to facilitating the mission of the Jordanian researchers to transfer modern technology and benefit from Chinese experiences in the field of scientific research.

Dr. Hu Guoqiang, asserted the depth of relations between the two countries, expressing the Chinese side's intention to increase cooperation opportunities with NARC to exchange experiences in all related fields.

During the visit, the delegation had a tour through NARC's departments and laboratories.
