Dr.Nizar Haddad ,Director General of the National Agricultural Research Center (NARC),received in his office today Dr.Mahmoud Badr Alhadid, Director General of Awqaf Properties Development Dept . ,discussing collaboration in issues of common interest.
Haddad stressed NARC’s willingness to provide technical and scientific expertise to contribute in developing agricutural lands ,owned by Awqaf Properties Development Dept,indicating that both parties goals meet with those of sustainable Development(SDG)s ,in combatting hunger and enhancing good investment in agricultural sector.This can be accomplished through providing poor families with agricultural training and low cost technologies to improve their livelihoods and boost their incomes.
Describing NARC as “home of agricultural expertise”Dr.Hadid expressed his happiness and appreciation for this opportunity that will play a critical role in developing awqaf properties , having a positive impact on many families in need and creating job opportunities.
He added that a memorandum shall be signed soon between the two parties to go forward goals in common.
